What is Drawing Manipulation?

Drawing manipulation refers to the different ways you can change your view or arrangement of a drawing.

It does not change the physical size or shape of the objects themselves, just how you interact with them on your screen.

Common Forms

The most common forms of drawing manipulation are:

  • Panning - you move the view left/right/up/down without zooming
  • Zooming - you increase or decrease magnification of the view
  • Orbiting - 3D only, you move around the drawing in 3D space
