Panning a Drawing

Panning a drawing is the act of moving the view of the drawing around without changing the scale (zoom), and without altering the drawing itself. You’re not resizing it, stretching it, zooming, rotating, etc – you are simply shifting your window of view so you can see a different area of the drawing. The purpose of panning is to move your view to look at a different section of the same scale.

How to Pan a Drawing

To pan a drawing, click and hold the middle button of your mouse, or for a 2D drawing you can also use the left button of your mouse, and move the drawing to the required position.
